Inspired by the iconic instant film by Polaroid, Risoriods are 1 color photo tests featuring the color’s treatment of an image using grain touch (Riso’s natural stamp texture) or screen cover (Riso’s bitmap texture). Each has a different vibe and can dramatically change the image.

Risograph printed in a variety of striking colors: Red, Kelly Green, Teal, Blue, Medium Blue, and Purple
“Riso will never be perfect but frankly neither will I” is my printing philosophy.
The print you will receive may feature misregistration (colors not lining up) and/or tire marks (small horizontal lines in the bottom center of some works). These are two unavoidable factors with Riso printing. I take preventative measures during my print production process to decrease their appearance. For examples of what that may look like scroll to the bottom of THIS PAGE and learn more.
I will always prioritize sending out the most perfect picks of what I have in stock at the moment but accept that not every Riso print will be perfect- just like any of us.
